For Immediate Release
May 8, 2019
Colorado Springs, CO—V3Gate has been named to second annual Vet50 list—a compilation of the nation’s fastest growing veteran-owned businesses. The ranking, created in partnership with Inc. Magazine and the Institute for Veterans and Military Families at Syracuse University (IVMF), was born out of the iconic Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies based in the U.S. Both distinctions are considered hallmarks of entrepreneurial success.
“We are honored to be recognized on the prestigious Vet50 list for the second year in a row,” said V3Gate Chief Executive Officer, Oscar Valdez. “Since 2007, we have endeavored to serve the vibrant missions of our government, and we are thrilled to be experiencing rapid growth as we deliver the new era of IT.”
“Veterans bring an incredible array of knowledge and skills to the world of business. Inc. is proud to join in honoring the valuable contributions these leaders make to their communities and to the American economy,” said James Ledbetter, editor, Inc. Magazine and Inc.com.
“All veteran entrepreneurs bring a unique set of proven skills and knowledge to the business world as a result of their military service,” said Mike Haynie, Syracuse University Vice Chancellor and IVMF Founder, Executive Director. “These successful business owners on the Vet50 list are inspiring examples of how important and valuable veteran entrepreneurs are to our society and economy. These individuals not only served for the sake of our collective freedom and security, they are now continuing to serve by bettering the economic climate in their communities and across the country.”
V3Gate has also been recognized on the Colorado Springs Rising Star list of fastest-growing private companies (2016, 2017, and 2018), as well as the Inc. 500 (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019). In 2018, the company obtained its ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/EIC 20243:2015 certifications. Most recently, V3Gate won contracts with the Colorado Department of Public Safety and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Other key clients include the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice, the Department of Energy, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Defense, and the State of California.
